Ginny’s Jewelry Designs & Creations LLC

In February 2022, I began making earrings for myself, soon graduating to making necklaces, and collecting beautiful and rare stone cabochons. My next step in jewelry making was learning how to wire wrap my collection of cabochons.

Quickly becoming bored with traditional wire wrapping techniques and monotonous standard cabochon shapes, I created my own minimalist wire wrapping style to match my vision that follows each stone’s characteristics and flow. It has become my passion to find the highest quality, rarest cabochons and wrap them in a way that highlights their natural beauty.

In December 2022, I found 49er Minerals, owned and operated by gemologist Jim Vaĉek and his wife Joyce, who acquire extremely rare and gem quality raw materials through their own mining, as well as from estates of longtime collectors. Jim unconventionally cuts and carves raw stones in innovative ways to capture and accent their best attributes, rather than following standard shapes.

Around the same time, I became aware of the work of multi-award-winning gemstone sculptor Nick Alexander, owner of Fantasy Gemstones and Jewelry, who exquisitely sculpts rare and gem quality stones to create elegant cabochons. The gem quality sculpted stones from these two immensely talented artists have allowed me to perfect my unique minimalist style of wire wrapping.

Only high-grade materials and genuine Grades AAA to AAAA stone and pearl beads are used to create my jewelry.

I create every necklace and earring set with my heart, soul, love, and utmost care because every piece of jewelry I make is with the intent of keeping it for myself. My creations are difficult to part with because a piece of me goes with them.

Jewelry Care & Instructions

Natural stones should be stored flat, away from direct sunlight, which can affect the natural color of some gemstones.

Natural gemstones, beads, chains, and wires can be damaged by bleach, soap, sanitizer, hairspray, perfume, lotions, and jewelry cleaner. Do not wear your jewelry while swimming, exercising, or sleeping.

To keep your jewelry looking like new, after wearing, gently wipe it down with a soft polishing cloth before storing. Once the cloth is completely soiled (black), it should be replaced. To prevent tarnishing, store jewelry in a jewelry box, or store in anti-tarnish bags.
