This new and exciting genuine Bubble Opalite (aka Bubble Opal) is colorless banded Opal from Utah. It is a unique, beautiful, and intensely reflective cabochon!

Satin flash opal is a rare natural hyalite opal (non-fluorescent) variety, often referred to as “common opal.” It is a result of repeated fracturing and re-healing in geothermal/hydrothermal near surface opal deposits. This hyalite Opalite is only found in The Thomas Range, in the West Desert area of Utah that formed approximately 7 million years ago.

While it may be referred to as “common opal,” there is nothing “common” about this rare gorgeous wire wrapped satin flash cabochon!
